Abstract

Social workers face difficulties in identifying the interests of working-age persons with disabilities in Magelang City. Social workers face difficulties due to the diversity of interests among working-age persons with disabilities. In addition, they also face difficulties in identifying the interests of persons with disabilities in order to identify jobs that match their interests. PSM need tools that can support their work in mapping the interests of working-age people with disabilities. One digital tool that can be used to map the interests of working-age people with disabilities is the IDESMART application. Thus, the community service team provided assistance to PSM in mapping the interests of working-age people with disabilities using the IDESMART application. The assistance in mapping the interests of working-age persons with disabilities using the IDESMART application was carried out at the Magelang City Manpower Office as a partner, involving 54 participants. The stages of the assistance activities consisted of the preparation stage, the preparation of the assistance design, the implementation of the assistance, evaluation, and reporting. The results of the assistance activity included an understanding of the concept of the interests of persons with disabilities, an understanding of the IDESMART application, practice in utilizing the IDESMART application, and ongoing cooperation related to assistance in mapping the interests of persons with disabilities of working age.
